Kelper, the Salty Sea Dog, takes loving the ocean to a whole new level. His breed can breathe underwater, and Kelper spends all day swimming with the fishes. He’s made a whole business out of it, collecting the salt from the water in his long hair and selling it to tourists. Kelper has a deep connection with the sea and a calming, almost therapeutic presence that draws others to him.

He’s as curious as he is brave, always diving into the unknown with a sense of wonder. His gentle demeanor and instinctive ability to navigate the waters make him an irreplaceable friend to those who visit the Wet Nose Wharf, his hometown. There, Kelper is beloved by sailors. His fur collects salt as he swims, which the sailors comb out to use to preserve food for their long journeys. It seems like he enjoys getting groomed, so it’s a win-win.

It seems like Kelper can tell when a storm is brewing, as his fur changes texture due to the humidity. However, this doesn’t stress him out or make him scared - rather, he gets uncharacteristically excited! When a storm comes, Nimbus, Kelper’s best friend, isn’t too far behind.
