Ken
breed: snuggle scientist
Professor Ken, the snuggle scientist, is the delightfully clumsy canine genius who played a key role in the creation of the beloved bot dog, Dot. Don’t let the crooked glasses and trailing scarf fool you, Ken’s mind is razor-sharp, even if his paws aren’t.
Ken moved to the Community College district around the same time Dot was being built, and it’s no coincidence — his insights into learning, empathy, and tail-wag physics helped shape Dot into the companion the world needed. A true academic at heart, Ken keeps his dog bed perched atop a tower of textbooks (most of which he’s actually read). He’s endlessly curious, loves a good puzzle, and is known to fall asleep mid-research with a book open under his paw.
Though he’s wise beyond his dog years, Ken is adorably clumsy — tripping over wires, misplacing his favorite pen (it’s in his fur), and stubbornly wearing his cracked glasses because “they still work, technically.” He works too hard, rarely taking time to relax, though, at Dog Daze, you can usually find him on the worn-out couch, under a warm blanket, taking a much needed nap.
Fun fact: Ken considers Dot his greatest contribution to science and his best friend.
