Spit
breed: grunge terrier
Spit, the grunge terrier, may look like a tough, rock-and-roll rebel, but don’t let the spiked collar and fierce stare fool you - this punk pup has a heart of gold. Adopted by a rowdy 1980s-style metal band of twenty-something misfits, Spit quickly became the band's unofficial mascot... and their hardest working member. Whether he’s pushing equipment carts, helping pick lyrics, or napping on top of speakers during practice, Spit is always involved in the action.
While the band loves their pup’s professional, no-nonsense attitude (he’s always ready to bring the vibe and keep things in check), they also trained him well, and he’s a big softie at heart. Spit has a deep love for belly rubs and is quick to show his sweet side with anyone willing to give him a scratch behind the ears.
When Spit’s at a gig, you know it’s going to be a great show. The fans absolutely adore him, so much so that they make merch with his likeness to show their love at every show. At Barkstage, you might catch him dancing in the crowd, or even stealing the spotlight with a wag of his tail during the encore.
Spit is always a ball of energy and professionalism on stage, but never forgets to bring his playful side to the mix. He’s that perfect balance of rockstar energy and loyal companion, and if you’re lucky enough to meet him at a show, you’re in for a good time.
At Dog Daze, he currently gets along well with Vanessa, considering she’s now tangled up in the wild world of fame as Chappell Bone. Rumor has it that Spit might be the opener for her debut tour.
